UiPath named as RPA leader

UiPath, the leader in enterprise automation software, announced that it has been named a Leader in Forrester Wave: Robotic Process Automation (RPA) in the first quarter of 2021.

Of the 14 providers evaluated, UiPath achieved the highest rank in each of the three categories – current offer, strategy and market presence.

The company also received the highest possible ratings for product vision, performance, supporting products and services, partner ecosystem, delivery model, RPA enterprise customers, enterprise customers, and product revenue, the company said in a press release on Saturday, March 20.

The report found that UiPath has invested heavily in expanding its product line in order to maximize the value automation brings to its customers.

The report goes on to say that UiPath offers an innovative and innovative RPA solution for businesses, complemented by a large ecosystem of partners. This makes UiPath a good fit for large, global companies with demanding needs for support and governance.

According to the report, “… process mining capabilities, collaborative discovery, assessment tools, and graphical visualizations provide everything you need to analyze and track the automation ROI and its realization.”

The report also found that the UiPath marketplace, shared with Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday, and others, contains over 1,000 reusable components. Embedded AI functions classify and extract data from unstructured, semi-structured and structured documents and scan reliably at high speed. Security, access control and authentication functions are state-of-the-art. The open platform can be easily integrated into company applications such as Google Workplace, Microsoft Office, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow and Workday.

The wave examined the rapidly maturing RPA market. In order to evaluate and recognize the vendors who are driving the advancement of RPA, this year’s evaluation includes criteria such as bot design and development. Bot deployment, management and analysis; Bot governance, platform model and security; and supporting products and services.

The participants’ evaluations were based on a comprehensive set of 25 evaluation criteria, which were divided into three categories: Current Offer, Strategy and Market Presence.

As part of Forrester’s rigorous review process, the company also analyzed supplier surveys, conducted customer reference surveys, participated in product demos, and examined expert interviews.
