Freelancer website thrives during COVID-19
Freelancer CEO Matt Barbie spoke to Sky News about the benefits of his website during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“You are only limited by your imagination, it’s extremely inexpensive,” he said.
Mr Barbie described freelancer as a website that enables people to start any business they can and offer a service to the community.
“The internet gives you access to people all over the world who need work, are highly qualified and well educated.”
He said there is currently a “massive shortage of skilled workers” in Australia.
The idea of freelancer was born when Barbie wanted to create a website for his mother’s company.
