Hannity is looking for a committed, creative and experienced associate producer for our team. As the AP, you will be responsible for storytelling, producing segments, assisting the monologue writers, assisting with field recordings, and more. You thrive in a collaborative team environment and have a strong passion for current events and politics.
This is a freelance short term vacation insurance agency. You will be offered the following shift: Monday through Friday 2 p.m.-10 p.m. ET.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily pitch segments, story ideas and guests
- Support monologue authors with elements and produce segments
- Create graphics for different segments
- Write banners and teases
- Write introductions, mini-monologues, and monologues regularly
- Help organize field surveys
- Support the bookers in breaking news
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 2-3 years of experience in a research role or television production
- Strong knowledge and passion for current events and politics
- Ability to write in clear and concise formats
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks under tight deadlines and extreme pressure
- Team player attitude coupled with the ability to meet quick deadlines and react to rapid news developments
- Excellent communication skills

- A bachelor’s degree and / or relevant work experience
