Blue Prism 7 Focuses on Programmable Digital Workforce instead of RPA

Blue Prism, a pioneer in the development of automation tools, announced a major overhaul as part of Blue Prism Version 7 that enables a new digital worker architecture and stronger cloud integration. This move underscores the company’s shift away from robotic process automation (RPA) and towards the projected larger market for intelligent process automation products.

Last year, the company saw overall growth of 46% and demand growth of 147% for Blue Prism Cloud, its SaaS solution.

According to Blue Prism CEO and Chairman Jason Kingdon, scaling intelligent automation in the cloud and enabling higher demand will be the final difference in a year of significant industry growth.
