Avanade advances RPA play in ASEAN through Blue Prism pact

Following an in-market alliance with Blue Prism, Avanade has launched an ASEAN-focused Center of Excellence (CoE) that specializes in the automation of robotic processes (RPA).

The move is the vendor’s first dedicated facility in the region and is designed to drive the adoption of RPA at the enterprise level, with a particular focus on the banking, financial services, public sector and healthcare industries.

Avanade was founded in 2000 by Accenture and Microsoft as a dedicated Microsoft specialist and was the first global systems integrator to receive the status of an authorized training partner for Blue Prism. This is complemented by the company’s Singapore-based Digital Innovation Studio, which was first launched in August 2019.

“When organizations begin their automation journey, it is important not to overlook the human impact of the implementation,” said Omer Ali Khan, ASEAN general manager at Avanade. “That’s why we work with our customers to put their employees and customers at the center of the intelligent automation program.”

Khan said enterprise customers can partner with Avanade to implement virtual workforce solutions backed by support and training on Blue Prism RPA solutions to help employees improve their skills and collaborate with machines.
